There are a few methods to harvest worm compost without the worms:
Worms are decomposers and they consume organic matter and convert it into nutrient-rich compost.
You'll need a minimum of 1000 worms, but 2000 is better. If you really want to kick start your Subpod, you can add up to 4000 worms.
Your wormery composter is particularly suitable for peelings and leftovers of fruit and vegetables, such as potato peels, apple cores, green tops of vegetables, etc.
Worms are hermaphrodite which means they have both male and female reproductive cells. However, it still takes two to tango… if you know what I mean!
